HERA Rebate Program

Stackable with the federal initiative, The City of Edmonton offers a retrofit accelerator program to help homeowners understand home energy efficiency and provide rebates for upgrades. The Edmonton Change for Climate initiative is taking action with various educational material and available programs to connect the city as we fight against climate change.

 
 

CEIP Financing

Alberta’s Clean Energy Improvement Program is designed to provide financial support for energy efficiency upgrades and renewable energy with repayment made through your regular property tax bill. The program currently serving Edmonton, Calgary, St. Albert, Leduc, Canmore, Rocky Mountain House, Devon, Grand Prairie, Lethbridge and Athabasca; We are labeled as one of CEIP’s qualified contractors and are excited as it is expected to launch in more cities across Alberta.

 

Application Steps:

  1. Decide on your energy upgrades

    In the Renovation Upgrade Report we provide after your Pre-Retrofit Evaluation, under Energy Advisor comments, are details regarding eligible provincial level upgrades alongside the federal retrofit recommendations.

  2. Enroll in the program

    Following the completion of your Pre-Retrofit Evaluation, you can enroll in the provincial program.

  3. Complete your Retrofits

    With the completion of your retrofits, schedule your Post-Retrofit Evaluation. You will need to submit your Post-Retrofit reports to apply for the City of Edmonton HERA program.

  4. Apply For The Program

    Submit your rebate application form with up to 3 upgrades at once using the EnerGuide reports we provide you.
