CleanBC Better Homes

With the rising impacts of climate change being a defining issue, British Columbians are rising to the challenge and taking action. Funded by BCHydro and FortisBC, CleanBC Better Homes is the provincial website resides as the all in one place to find the list of the most up-to-date incentives. Stackable with the Federal Greener Homes Grant imitative, the program is designed to add additional support to homeowners looking to reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions.

 
 

CleanBC Financing Program

CleanBC offers low-interest financing for homeowners looking to switch their fossil-fuel mechanical system to a heat pump system from a qualified product list. Homeowners that meet the eligible requirements can receive up to $40,000 to put towards a new heating and cooling heat pump purchase.

 

Application Steps:

  1. Decide on your energy upgrades

    In the Renovation Upgrade Report we provide after your Pre-Retrofit Evaluation, under Energy Advisor comments, are details regarding eligible provincial level upgrades alongside the federal retrofit recommendations.

  2. Complete your Retrofits

    With the completion of your retrofits, schedule your Post-Retrofit Evaluation. You will need to submit your Post-Retrofit reports to apply for the CleanBC Better Homes program.

  3. Apply For The Program

    After you have paid for your final invoice from the renovation work you can then apply for the program. We outline the information you need to complete your CleanBC Better Homes application for a seamless process.
